Wealth Is The Ability To Fully Experience Life

–Henry David Thoreau

Financial Therapy helps you explore the causes of—and find solutions to—your unique form of distress related to financial matters and business decision making.

It is necessary and wise to rely upon professionals with expertise in Financial Planning, Estate and Gift Planning, Investment Management, and Tax Planning.  However, what often goes unaddressed are the psychological dynamics and motivations underlying your financial and business decisions.  As a consequence, emotional distress persists, and this diminishes your “ability to fully experience life.”

Shane L. Tytenicz, LCPC

My undergraduate degree is in Finance, and, prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for more than 20 years in the fields of banking, investment management, and personal business administration for high net-worth individuals.  With my breadth of experience in collaborating with business owners as well as professionals such as attorneys, investment advisors, CPAs, and bankers, you won’t need to waste any time getting me “up to speed” on the technical aspects of your particular situation.

As a psychotherapist, I add value by helping people understand and address the psychological dynamics that factor into complicated scenarios arising among family members or business associates working through conflicts and concerns.

My role does not encompass providing investment or legal advice.  Instead, with my experience in both finance and psychology, I help people more fully understand—and ultimately alleviate—their distress arising from financial and business-related perplexities. The ultimate goal is to help you make life-giving decisions.

If you’d like to discuss ways to lessen the distress related to your business or personal financial matters, please don’t hesitate to contact me today for a confidential consultation.
